While the company has confirmed of dual edge displays, other leaked specs still hang about to be speculation. The leaks have in fact spelled the price of the handset, while primary information suggests that this would be Xiaomi’s highest priced smart phone ever. The leaked price hints at $590 making it around Rs 39,500 in India.

Other leaked speculations suggest, that the phone would likely sport a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of (1440×2560 pixels), backed with Force Touch Pressure sensitivity technology. Powering the phone would be a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 SoC, while the back panel will hold up a dual camera setup with a 23 Mega pixel Sony IMX318 sensor and the other 12 Mega pixel Sony IMX378 sensor. For selfies, the front would likely bear an 8 Mega pixel camera.

Other leak also suggests that it might come with iris scanner as well and might clad a metal-glass combo premium design body too.

By launching this device at this given time, Xiaomi could capture some of the market share that got vacated by Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, which had burning and exploding issues. This product line up would be a potential handset customers would be looking out for as Apple too is really expensive that targets the elite class of the segment.

With passing time, Xiaomi has been winning hearts over the years, thanks to its attractive pricing which doesn’t forego high end specs. The company has been blatantly taking up on manufacturers who launch products with hefty prices while Xiaomi’s virtually keeps it super attractive backed with same specs, that of the competition.
