Oppo, the third highest smartphone seller in China has teamed up with DJI, the undisputed king in consumer drones in China to produce the first VOOC-powered drone in the world, RCDroneArena reports.
VOOC is Oppo’s fast-charging technology that is incorporated in its phones. The next DJI drone, the Inspire 2, that the company has kept under wrap for long will reportedly be using this fast-charging technology to power the drone.
What’s more, VOOC has also been adopted by China’s OnePlus in the form of ‘Dash Charging’ that claims to charge the phone up to 60 per cent in less than 30 minutes.
Neither Oppo or DJI has confirmed whether this will actually happen, but a teaser mentioning the tie-up has surfaced, giving hopes to drone maniacs the world over.
