Lenovo today announces the launch of its camera centric smartphone Vibe Shot in an event streamed live on YouTube. The smartphone was announced earlier this year at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona and grabbed many eyeballs because of its point and shoot camera styled design.
Lenovo Vibe Shot features a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and first of its kind tricolor flashlight. The camera centric smartphone is equipped with Infra-red auto-focus, which according to Lenovo is twice as fast as regular auto-focusing system. Lenovo has added an 8MP camera on front to please the selfie lovers.
Other specifications include a 5-inch full HD display, Corning Gorilla glass 3 on both front and back of the device, 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and 3GB of RAM for multitasking. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is backed by a 2900mAh battery unit.
The 4G enabled smartphone comes with 32GB onboard storage and is expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card. The Lenovo VIBE Shot will be priced at Rs. 25,499 and will be available at www.lenovo.com and across 1,400 Lenovo exclusive stores and leading smartphone retail stores starting today.
With its pricing, the smartphone will fight the likes of recently launched One Plus Two, which is one of the best Android smartphone in the price segment, Samsung Galaxy A7 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra.
